A slice of Paradise

So its nearly 10pm in KL and I’m sitting in Starbucks waiting for my flight back home. I’d just come from Singapore to spend a few days with the family before heading back to the daily grind.

In the meantime, I thought I’d share some of the pics I took while in Mauritius.

The white sandy beaches, blue skies, and turquoise waters are just as they look in postcards. Beautiful.

But the city completely took me by surprise. If you had been knocked unconscious and woken up in the city, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were in KL. Still, it had a charm all of its own.

I had a memorable time with Jess & Bjorn, not only covering  their wedding, but also getting to know their family and close friends. Jess gave me a big hug the moment I came out of the arrival gates. And the hospitality never stopped. Both their families were so warm I felt like part of the family. It was truly a special time.

It’s times like these that make me think, how on earth did I get so lucky?? All I can do is thank God for where He’s led me up to this point.

So, enough rambling from me. On to the photos.
