I love Persian weddings. I can’t say it any simpler than that.
I’ve had the amazing opportunity to shoot 2 Persian weddings so far and they have been just fantastic.
There’s something about the culture that just draws me in.
Natasha + Bayan were both from the same high school and have been together more than 10 years. So when they finally decided to get married the family was overjoyed.
They got in touch with me several months before the date and said they wanted a low-key day, minimal stress and a small wedding. Of course I couldn’t say no!
We organised a first-look for Bayan + Natasha and spent an hour shooting their portraits before the ceremony at Marlee Pavilion in King’s Park.
Their reception was at the Como the Treasury so we hung out there to shoot a little more.
