Here’s another throwback to a wedding I shot in March! Dana and Dave got in touch with me last year to shoot their wedding in Distribution Lane Fremantle and I jumped at the chance. They met while travelling in Croatia and have been together ever since. These guys love to have fun and their bridal party reflected that too. They chose to have their ceremony at the Roundhouse in Fremantle and we roamed the city on foot, finishing up at Distribution Lane for the party.
Distribution Lane Fremantle is one of the newer venues that cater to the relaxed crowd who prefer a cocktail style reception with roaming canapes throughout the night. They don’t have a fixed caterer so the couple is free to pick whoever they like. Dana and Dave went with Soul Provider, a food truck caterer specialising in Spanish paella and South American cuisine. I have to say the food was just divine. This wasn’t a typical 3 course meal with the usual steak/chicken combo. This was a smorgasbord of flavours and every dish that I tried had me salivating for the next one! They wanted to have the informal party vibe for their reception and also hired Jeanie Proude to provide the live music for the night.
Big thanks to the following vendors who made the day possible:
